Marilyn joins Silverado Belmont Hills with over 25 years experience in Customer Service, Nursing and Assisted Living.  Marilyn relocated from Ohio to California in 1997  and was introduced to Assisted Living.  Marilyn has held several management positions within this field.  Marilyn’s involvement in Dementia Care began when her Grandmother was diagnosed with Senile Dementia and she was her primary caregiver. 

When Marilyn isn’t at the community she enjoys her two cats, Tom and Jerry, gardening, puzzles and family.

Darlene Breazeal has provided care management services for older adults with memory impairments for the past two years. Previously, she provided case management and individual, family and group therapy services in clinic and residential care settings.
Darlene has also counseled adults undergoing substance abuse rehabilitation.

Darlene received her Master of Science in Counseling Psychology from California Baptist University and her Bachelor of Science in Psychology, Cum-Lade, from Southern Oregon University. She is a member of the National Association of Professional Geriatric Care Managers (NAPGCM), and the NAPGCM Western Regional Chapter. 

Anna comes to Silverado Belmont Hills with over 20 years experience in High Tech Sales,  Media Sales and Management – an interesting turn given Anna’s Bachelor degree is in Physical Therapy. Anna had enough of Silicon Valley and was adamant about working in a field that had more of a heart and to making a contribution to the senior community.
Anna became closely acquainted with dementia when she moved into her mother’s home to be primary caregiver for her mother who was diagnosed with dementia towards the end of her life.
When not enjoying  the Community and its’ residents,  Anna enjoys her graduate courses in the Gerontology Master’s Program at Notre Dame University, traveling outside the U.S., entertaining and attending film festivals, especially the Sundance Film Festival.

Kevin joins Silverado Belmont Hills with over 20 years in the food and beverage industry. Kevin grew up in Michigan and started working in the industry of food and beverage within the family operated Restaurant business.  He refined his skills in the Country Club atmosphere before moving to the great state of California AND opening the Restaurant chain of Portofino Grill. Kevin has worked in the Health industry for a year now, understands health care because of his mother who had dementia for over 12 years and Kevin was her conservator.

When not working Kevin enjoys most being Dad to his soon to be 11 year old daughter, golf and bike riding.

Maryam joins Silverado Belmont Hills with over 15 years of experience in the business, health and fitness industry as a trainer, instructor and a business owner. Maryam’s Bachelor degree in business administration along with her professional fitness trainings have not only given her the tools to manage and run her successful businesses both in Canada and California, but have also allowed her to work with clients of various ages to make a positive change in their lives. As the activities director at Silverado Senior Living, Maryam is dedicated to make everyday a memorable day for our residents and to be an integral part of their lives as well as their families. 
Maryam still teaches group fitness classes in various gyms and does private personal training on a part time basis. She loves to travel and spend time with her friends and her two boys, Sherwin and Sean.
