A Special Focus on the Family at Silverado Senior Living |
Social, Cognitive and Physical Stimulation for Your Loved One
Care for dementia, such as Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s and Lewy-Body disease, will be provided in a homelike assisted living community. The extensive renovation also includes the addition of large secure balconies on each floor to allow residents the freedom of being outdoors to enjoy the gentle ocean breezes and fantastic views. An expansive secure outside yard is also being created that will include lots of garden plants, a shady gazebo and walking paths. A great place to walk the dogs! Engaging activities that stimulate cognitive retention will be provided throughout the day.
Children and Pets in Assisted Living
Residential pets, intergenerational activities, sensory experiences and regular outings are all part of why Silverado is home. In addition to our community pets, individuals will be encouraged to bring their own pet to live with them in their new home. A friendly wag of the tail, or soft purr on the lap is always a welcome addition!
Team members will be allowed to bring their children to work with them so that laughter as the kids and elders interact is a common sound. This has the added benefit of employee satisfaction and retention … especially important to consider when dealing with dementia, as consistency of care is essential. |
