Susan joined Silverado Senior Living of Scottsdale in May of 2008 with an eagerness to share her passion for Silverado with the Valley of the Sun as a Community Ambassador. Susan joins the Silverado family with an interesting background of travel and service experience, after having backpacked solo through Europe, volunteered with Habitat for Humanity in Costa Rica, and served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Kenya.
Susan grew up in a small town in Minnesota, and attended Northeastern University in Boston where she received her Bachelors degree in American Sign Language. Susan loves to clean and organize, to spend time with friends and family, to travel, to laugh with her fiance Darek, and to play and snuggle with their 6 pound Yorkie, Huxley.
