Patti Zabell is Vice President of Silverado At Home, a division of Silverado Senior Living, offering specialized home care and care management services to clients with Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, vascular and other memory impairing diseases. Ms. Zabell has more than 25 years in the healthcare industry with progressive management experience including hospital, HME/ pharmacy, staffing and home health care. Ms. Zabell entered the home care industry in 1987 as a per diem field nurse progressing to executive leadership roles for both national and regional providers. Her most recent 10 years have been in senior level positions which have included multi-site responsibilities in the home health sector.

In her tenure, Ms. Zabell has led both hospital based and proprietary for-profit organizations with acumen for financial and operational success. Ms. Zabell’s main focus is on organizational structure, financial analysis, key performance indicators, project management, process improvement and positive outcomes. She has a wide breadth of experience within the disciplines of nursing, operations, compliance and business development. Patti’s area of expertise includes a focus on merger and acquisition, integration strategies and organizational change.
Ms. Zabell has a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration from Franklin University, is certified as a Home Care Executive from the National Association of Homecare and Hospice, and is a Registered Nurse in both California and Ohio. She has been an active member of many professional organizations including National Association of Homecare and Hospice, Ohio Council for Homecare, Indiana Association for Home and Hospice Care, Association for Homecare and Hospice of North Carolina, California Association for Health Services at Home, Association of California Nurse Leaders, Ohio League for Nursing, University Hospital of Cleveland Senior Network and NE Ohio Case Management Network. Ms. Zabell was appointed in 2003 as a biographical candidate into “Who’s Who Among Executive and Professional Women in Nursing and Healthcare.”
